Availability & Prices
During the high-season from 1st of July to 5th of Oct the standard stay is 7 nights and the changeover day is usually Saturday.
In the spring & late summer it’s usually a 3-night minimum stay but feel free to just ask, also if you’d like to book different dates in the summer.
All travel plans are different and all groups of travellers have different needs. So the easiest thing to do is just ask for a quote or for your specific needs (e.g. a shorter stay) by emailing us at schleihaussensby@gmail.com.

2 kids are included in the price, and we have a baby cot and baby bedding/bedlinen here too, which is included in the price if you need it.

Arrival & checkout
Arrival time is 3pm (unless agreed otherwise), Departure is at 10am (again, unless we've made other arrangements and if there are no immediate new guests).
Cleaning
Our cleaning fee includes the bedding and towels. That means the beds will be made and you'll have a large shower and a hand towel, plus floor mats.
Please leave the house as you would like to find it. The cleaning service will take care of the rest.
Families vs Friends
If you are looking for self-catering accommodation in Schwansen, then Schleihaus Sensby is perfect for families with kids! But the three bedrooms also work for e.g. three couples or groups of friends.
The nightly price is meant for a family of 4, and if you are a family with more kids please contact us and we will work something out. For groups with 4 adults or more, additional charges apply. 50€ per night, per person.
OUtdoor facilities
Outside there is a large wild garden with a big terrace, with seating for adults and kids. We also have a gas BBQ and a fire pit for marshmallow roasting, as well as foldable deckchairs.
There is also a table tennis table which you’re welcome to use and some portable football goals & balls. Please use with care - our kids will be thanking you.
Neighbours
Please note that we have a permanent tenant at the very front of the house, who has a separate entrance and garden. He owns a very friendly dog but everything is fenced in and there are no common areas. So our side of the house and our 2000sqm garden is all yours.
EV Charging
We do have an EV charging station at the house that can be used by guests too. If you want to use it, please let us know so we can make sure we have all the relevant keys out for you.
sauna USE
If you’d like to use the sauna outside in the garden, please let us know so we can get your sauna pack ready. It costs 40€ pp to use the sauna and we will put out a bathrobe and sauna towel for you (in addition to the regular towels), and you will receive the Sauna 101 information in advance, so you know how to use it.
TV & WiFi
While we do NOT have a TV here, to spend more time talking, playing games and guitar, we do have unlimited high-speed Internet so it's possible to work from here or watch a movie if you bring your laptop/ipad.
Equipment for kids
We have all the kit you need for travelling with kids: Stokke high chair (including the infant gear), travel cot (incl bedding), booster seat, children's kitchen wear, toys, books, pens, a Tonie box with Tonies, Duplo, board games (for kids and adults) - it's all here, so you don't have to bring it. Just let us know how old your kids are and what you need.
The garden & kids
The Schleihaus Sensby garden has a wildlife ponds, several swings, a sandpit, see-saw, kids playhouse and an In-ground trampoline (with a protective net). Your kids are welcome to make full use of the garden - but please supervise them, we can't take any responsibility for injuries. The trampoline has a weight restriction of 100kg. And the pond is for watching animals, but no one should go onto the stones by the pond.
Pets
As the house is meant primarily for families with children, we regret that we don't allow pets to come and stay.
parking
There is free parking on the large parking lot by the chestnut trees when you arrive, right by the house.
